Way to go?

I fitted the Quest this week and 'am looking at possibly wiring myself up for sound.

As I understand it there are two ways I can go. Either the 'Autocom' route or by the Garmin headset straight into the GPS unit.

Generally the missus and I get on fine by not talking too much on the bike but, I guess, it might be to share what's going on with the occassional remark about the scenery or the twat that has just tried to kill us, mind you she can usually hear those remarks anyway! I think it would annoy me to have it on all the time though as my wife tends to jabber on, saying the first thing that comes into her head then having a conversation with herself. At work I have a headset and sometimes find it a distraction and can't hear what's being said alot of the time anyway.

So with all this in mind, If I go the 'Autocom' route I would go with one of the cheaper units. All it would be for would be to have the Quest plumbed in and the occassional chat with the beloved. I'm definately not interested in using the mobile or listening to music.

So, Does anyone have the cheap unit and is it any good ?

The alternative is just to have the Garmin headset straight into the Quest. Does anyone have this and is it any good?
