So , on my way up to the NC500 . 400 miles yesterday, 300 today, currently in inverness
The thing is I've never noticed much noise from the front end before, but it sounds like a concrete mixer below 60 on anything but really smooth Tarmac
I've got ear plugs in and am wearing a tour cross , I usually wear an Arai Ram open face
The bike runs well and at speed the noise is cancelled out by wind rush
Tyres have 4500 miles on them and haven't really squared off
Anyone found s cure?
Having a great time up here, though it has pissed down every time I've got back on the bike
One of our group had his Ktm 1290 nicked while making an overnight stop in Liverpool. He didn't want to do the slog to the lakes from London in one hit
Had to go back to London to pick up a 990 adventure, so he's already winning in mileage
Great place to ride , Applecross / Ullapool tomorrow , but jees That bloody noise
