I would like to come for the ride, as due to family commitments missed the main event last year.

Nothing decided yet Rob, thinking about Perth. Chalky was happy with that when we spoke. Got a friendly local man checking out some options. Soon as I have the details I'l let you know.

Jeepers mate thats a bit of a tight schedule. If you'r into Portsmouth early enough you'l find a welcome and a bed here but thats going to add some distance and time to your trip up. Your decision, toss a coin.

I plan on leaving early, say 07ish then up to KL to meet up with Chalky. Up to Newark, breckypoos at the American diner a few miles up, and then heading north. Theres a few Premier Inn type places at Peterborough if you wanted to make a run for it, then we could meet at Newark.

Let us know what you'r thinking and we can work it out.

Ferry due into portsmouth at 18.30, so if its still ok with you and your good lady I'd like to stay at yours thursday night, I'll bring a sleeping bag. Would expect to be with you around 21.30 - 22.00hrs depending on tide and traffic.

Can I be included in any arrangements you have ongoing for Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings?

Ok Ian, will have grub etc ready for you, and no need to bring a sleeping bag, we have a room for you.
Don't have any plans yet but you will have to sit out side the pubs and we will bring out some lemonade and crisps.

Got back from Germany yesterday and I'm afraid that I'm physically not up to doing the trip up to Scotland. Even with an airhawk the old coccyx is causing me too much pain and discomfort.

I have been thinking about not going on the 20th, I think it may be too much for me after all, may just spend some time with our son instead? But I will be around the area. I will speak with you about this another time.
