Bought an old banger of a honda tl 125 today its pretty knackered needing major tlc ,some one has grafted the bottom end off a cb100 n into it but retaining a 122cc barrel and head ,the wireing for the HT circuit is all messsed up,Anyway I know theres some smart cookies in the Airhead section so heres my question ,the cb100n has three wires coming out the alternator pink yellow and white and according to a tl125 site there should only be 2 black and white, and grey.Can I hot wire the three wire system to the coil without using a battery to hear it running before I strip it down .Any info would be most appreciated.
