We passed a trio of sportbikes on the way back - probably snuck up on them. One of them caem up on my rear about 20 miles later and I move over and waved him by.

Kid got about 15 feet past me, crossed the center line and drilled a small oncoming SUV. Broke his leg, broke his bike and ceratinly broke his ego as well...

The NC State Tropper was certainly glad to see him again - he had given this kid a two tickets the previous day for stupid riding. Guess it didn't sink in...

Don't take this the wrong way, will you, but your part of the World looks a bit like Northumberland/Cumbria/Scottish Borders where I ride over here.

Can't get them Cheesey - Jalapeno Dogs anywhere here though.....

I'm sure a few of you guys here have been to western North Carolina to ride and can attest to the beauty and fantastic roads...

Isn't that the truth. :nod

I always thought it kinda looked like the Lake District a bit.... at least as I remember the Lake Dist looking anyway.

But we don't have Hadrian's Wall here. Or any walls for that matter.:( Just a few very, very old buildings. Some are almost 150 years old!!!!! Ancient! :)
