You may remember I was having trouble with my ABS not "playing as it should do.
After trying several different things including a reset a couple of times I bought myself a new Odyssey battery. Strangely, briefly it seemed to cure it, but no, the abs lights were still playing up and would sometimes work, sometimes wouldn't.
So, off with the tank (again), trace all the leads from the abs sensors back to the connections, clean them all off, put them all back together again.
Still no joy.
Take off the screen and remove all the clocks, swap some of the warning light bulbs around, just to be sure, and still, the top light wouldn't play.
Take the wheel sensors out, give them a clean (yes, I know, but thought I'd try it anyway) Still no joy.
Listen to the happy ticking relay under the seat and think, shall I wiggle it, just because I can't think of owt else ?
As soon as I touched it, the errant light came on. Took it out and cleaned the contacts. Popped it back and everything is as it should be.
Lessons learnt...
Check the easiest/cheapest things first.
My original Odyssey battery has nothing wrong with it
And a full petrol tank is sodding heavy !!!
Hope this might save someone the weeks of buggering about (not to mention expense) I've had !
