I guess... printed in 1975![]()
Not far out 1st 1976 reprinted 1978
Bizarre as I had the bike on the right and my father had the one on the right, in 1976.
Is that the other right?
I had a copy of that book once.

Old words, your probably not missing too much, the pictures would do for meThats right
£10 I paid for the book, some great pictures, not sure about the words, Mrs Bakes has promised to read it to me tonight

Frank Melling , why do I know that name? Its way before my time having passed my bike test age 17 in 1985.
Was he a journo or an engineer who something similar. I bet i'm confusing him with someone else![]()
What does he say in the book about throwing 240kg lardies around the lanes?

Would I be right in saying the bike on the left is a CZ and the one on the right looks like it's a Kawasaki KE??

Bultaco in the sand and a Suzuki TS 250 at speed, heres a closer picture of the first![]()

Nice bike Steve, I knew I recognised it, haven't seen one for a long time though, I'd forgotten who made it.
Not convinced about the other bike. I just sold my 1977 TS 250 about three weeks ago. Still got manuals coming out of my ears, if you know anyone who's looking for one. The TSs had two clocks the same size from 1969-79 then lost the rev counter in 80 when they changed the shape and became mono shock 'full floater'.
I recon it's a Kwaka. Unless he's knocked the rev counter off
Val.
Deafinatly a SUZUKI on the front cover, its been doctored around the rev counter in the picture, you can just make out the SUZ by his knee on the book not the picture, GOD I`m getting anal![]()
