Went to an AUTOJUMBLE

Thats right :D

£10 I paid for the book, some great pictures, not sure about the words, Mrs Bakes has promised to read it to me tonight
Old words, your probably not missing too much, the pictures would do for me :)

Frank Melling , why do I know that name? Its way before my time having passed my bike test age 17 in 1985.:nenau

Was he a journo or an engineer who something similar. I bet i'm confusing him with someone else:rolleyes:

He writes for the Daily Telegrahf when the lady is on her hols, he also did a book on MOTORCROSS.

What does he say in the book about throwing 240kg lardies around the lanes?

He also organises the Northwich Thundersprint - I had an update email from him this week, he has got Agostini and Jim Redman competing this year :thumb

I stuck a copy of that book up in the FS/W a few weeks back with some other manuals at £10 +pp. Never had a reply. :(

and found this book, some great stuff in it.

Nice bike Steve, I knew I recognised it, haven't seen one for a long time though, I'd forgotten who made it.

Not convinced about the other bike. I just sold my 1977 TS 250 about three weeks ago. Still got manuals coming out of my ears, if you know anyone who's looking for one. The TSs had two clocks the same size from 1969-79 then lost the rev counter in 80 when they changed the shape and became mono shock 'full floater'.

I recon it's a Kwaka. Unless he's knocked the rev counter off :augie
