I' looking to plan a trip along the length of the Pyrenees from West to East, has anyone done tis and if so can anyone suggest some interesting routes.
Thanks
David
In hindsight we should have stayed in St Jean Pied de Port as the furthest point west.
Don't stay in Irun, both me and my mate were hustled and had our phones nicked with bills to Algeria when we got home. In hindsight we should have stayed in St Jean Pied de Port as the furthest point west.
There's a great cafe in Vielha on the Sort end of town on the left does some monster burgers.
Cow shit road is good; Puigcerda - Ribes de Freser - Ripoll.
St Jean Pied-de-Port is back from the coast a bit. Did you mean St Jean de Luz? We stayed there a few year ago - a lovely little town.

Anywhere will be wonderful, stick to B and C roads and you won't go wrong

Make an exception for the N260 from Sort - Adrall which brings you up to the edge of Andorra.
There are a few Pyrenees routes in the Motorcyle Journeys book.
