just fitted a setof Tucanb muffs to my 1200GS and went out yesterday with the temperature at 1.5C. What a revelation. If anything I was too warm and had to turn the heated bars down to one dot and the BMW heated waistcoat to minimum.
Yes I am a soft old fart but it was a real pleasure to be out there on a sunny but cold winters day riding my bike in comfort. And best of all in summer gloves.
As to the muffs, well they are well made and effective. Clearly they are not made for the 1200GS as such ( its best to remove the upper grey bit of the brushguards) and as a consequence they dont fit very well. But they are secure and effective. One issue however - I hadnt realised how much I look down at the various handlebar buttons before pressing them. So I am left groping around in the dark if I want to perate much more than indicators, and start button. Both lights and gar heat now requires a bit of fumbling.
Nevertheless , recommended.
