Yep. Surprisingly simple....
But then it's not the official BMW designation
Don't forget that a hexhead is liquid cooled as well, although he liquid is oil and not water.

Just call the new ones Kettles or maybe Kettels to to avoid confusion with 1970's Suzukis.
