Nope, they changed that because it officially fell foul of one of the 'ist' rules
To qualify to purchase an RT now, you just have to be wearing at least two articles of clothing in Taupe, or at a push, beige, and you have to smell faintly of wee or TCP.
If you smell of both AND have three or more beige items on, they give an automatic 5% discount, which is why so many of the GS brethren are now riding RT's![]()

Which ever way you dress it up..... You've still made a mistake![]()

Better bike for the road/touring than a GS and it handles better on the road than a GS.
errrr no.....
the RT. It runs out of puff at the top pretty quickly
Perhaps your brakes are sticking, I've had GS and GSAs not one of them could get anywhere near the top speed of my RT
Worse thing about the GSs is the idea you have dress as if you were off travelling round the world when you are really only going to the shops
It depends on the roads and NAH.....!!! In that order....![]()

Faster and more fuel efficient than a GS thanks to the latter having the aerodynamics of a brick.

.The RT is a much better bike in most situations than the GS/A.
Unless you want to take the bike off road, then the RT is much better in my opinion-faster,more comfortable, more practical, better handling etc etc.
And if you do want to go off road then why take a tank such as a GSA when there are much better, faster and lighter alternatives !!!
There would be even more RTs on the road if a couple of celebs had ridden off on them instead of GSAs.
Enjoy the bike-you'll love it !!!
