i was using an Arai AstroR on my sports bikes (see avatar to left) and when i first got the GS but found the buffeting off the screen annoying to the extent i had to duck down a little to reduce it which was fine on a short trip but not on a run to Scotland and back in a weekend.
I gave in and tried a TourX and the peak seems to sort the wind buffeting a treat and as has been said the peak is a godsend to me as i have nerve damage in my right eye (leftover from Bells palsy) that means i cant squint that eye so any head on sunshine i just tilt my head down a bit and the peak sorts it
I now have a Tour X3 (diamond black so no Ewan and Charlie look)which is no more noisy than my Astro as they are both covered in vents and Arais fit me well as well as wearing earplugs all the time ............... i didnt like the feel, fit or look of the Schuberths but each to their own
