What light bulb?

I put one of these in my Fazer 600 a year or so ago. It gave a better beam of light but there again putting a lit candle in a Fazer headlight was better than the original!
It does give an orangy glow but I would probably invest in Halfrauds extra light thingy wotsit light bulbs when they do the 2 for 1 offer. Not sure if this offer is still on or not. However, don't ignore the Philips bulb.

I changed my Fazer 600 to HID, you can see where your going now :aidan

Obviously, HID's will be a much better option. But if you can't justify stretching the budget that far, I've found that Phillips GT150 bulbs are much better than the oe affairs.

I'll say this short,
if no HID, use OSRAM NIGHTBREAKER (H7):thumb2:clap:bounce

Are these any good?

Or one of those high power bulbs they sell for cars?

40% more white light. Distinctive orange reflection.

<sniff> smells like ........

Seriously, just how much more is a HID system now?

Have been using Philips XTreme Power for over a year now and it really makes a huge difference on my late night trips home from work. The beam is brighter, longer and wider.

Philips XTreme Power - WOW - Won the AutoExpress 2007 Product award, a must have motoring accessory for 2007 (Extreme)

See better on the road and be seen: +80%

The one I pointed out seems to be marketed at bikes specifically ..

Are the other ones you mention perfectly fine on a bike? I assume you guys have used them on your bike already.

So the bike only thing is just a "marketing" thing :nenau

Must agree with Hank,, makes a real difference, when travelling back from the NEC at night and my mate on his Truimph was so impressed he changed to them as well.

The effect on cars is quite noticeable and more intimidating without dazzling.

I got them from Nippy's I think on an offer for two. Not cheap but worth it...

I got a great deal on clever Phillips bulbs from an Ebay seller called Autobulbs direct, No connection but keen prices and rapid delivery.
