What No Maps

HI Chaps,

I've just had clean up of old Garmin devises and maps,

I now only have latest maps in Base Camp Hurrah,

but only when I have the Garmin (Nav IV) is plugged in to PC Boooo

Unplug Nav IV and only have Global Maps (no detail)

Help.....

Cant quite remember but you need to download the map to the PC using Garmin Map Updater not the garmin express

Get hold of garmin updater NOT express and you should be able to do just the PC does take a bit of messing around but it gets there in the end, do a search on latest update and there are a number of threads on updating.

You can use JDM

or

you can clone it.

Mobile Basecamp

You can also install (copy), Bascamp to the SD card of your device, plug it into any Windows PC and run it from there.
It will then see the maps on your GPS.
