What oil 1200gsa

Hi folks

What oil should i use to top up my 1200gsa with it was serviced last
week and it needs topping up

What`s recommended in the book ?

What was used at the service ??

Rightly or wrongly I use Castrol GP 4T 10W-40, mainly because I got a few litres spare

Septic, there has been a couple of "what oil " threads recently, do a search on oil, and settle yourself down for a long read.

but basicly if it is black (not too black), golden, red or green and slippy it will do
