Well, if you read the Surrey rideout thread about our little jaunt yesterday, you'll have seen that we erm, ventured offroad, just a tad......

Well, thats just fine, and what a great day it was too.

Only, I did wonder if perhaps it'd been better to use a more focussed bike for the job. Not that it wasnt a great deal of fun and very educational as to how far you can go with what many people label as a tourer.
So, after dinner last night I got to thinking, " this perhaps wasn't the kindest thing to do my baby ".

And the sight I was greeted with this morning, was, well, a little saddening

So, I set about cleaning, and, cleaning, and cleaning until I got to this point....

So, I've had enough for one day, and will readdress the situation tommorrow.

One question...........

When does a quick hose off become an obsession??

Those first pics, where the bike's absolutely plastered, were at about taken when I was there at about 12pm today.

Looking at the second lot it appears to have been getting dark by the time they were taken. What do we reckon? Five, maybe five thirty? That's five hours cleaning and the thing's still in bits!

At this rate I reckon you're going to spend longer cleaning it than you did getting it dirty mate.
