What should I do???

Dealer offering PCP 48 months 10.9% rate. For a rallye sport gs with a deposit of £8000

Bank offering 3.9% for the rest of the amount of the bike for 60 months.

Pros and cons of each please to help me decide.

I usually keep my bike for 3 years before I change.

Haggle with the sales team. I got mine down to 5.9% through bmw finance.

Haggle; play bank off against dealer.

In general they make bigger commission on finance than sale of bike.

10.9% is way too much, you should get 5.9% fairly easy.

was offered 5.9% PCP from one dealer on a new bike BUT ended up going with a pre-reg and they offered me 3.9% - turned into a no brainer!

If I pay £8000 deposit and finance the rest £11500 (lots of accessories ) via the bank then the bank is doing me a deal as I already have a loan with them they will add the 11,500 to that loan and the monthly outgoing will only increase by £54. But keeping in mind this is a previous loan to which this loan is being added over 84 months with an option to pay extra when ever I have extra cash in hand with a fine of £10 only.

If you're taking out GAP insurance get it direct from the company (ALA etc) as it will be half the dealers quote. As mentioned 10.9% is a lot so try a few dealerships, it's worth travelling for a bargain.
If you're taking the loan/pcp out for 4 or 5 years you need to think if you'll want to change to the new 1250gs (maybe) in a few years.
£19500 is a lot for any bike but if your happy go for it and enjoy

I bought a new 66 plate in Oct (not pre-registered) with GSPA, Keyless, Spokes, Alarm Alpine white £13,500 cash sold my 63 plate private and £5000 on interest free 27 month credit card.

Great deal, perhaps because it wasn't the latest all singing and dancing model but i'm happy with it, better than my 63 plate with 29,000 miles on it. Usually keep my bikes for 2 - 3 years.
