What tyres came with your LC?

Just out of interest. Any I've seen have Metzeler Next but mine arrived with conti Trail Attack 2 which are great by the way.

Mine came with Trail Attack 2s. (And it's Red). Bit disappointed about the tyres as I fancied the Metzelers. But I was told its just how they are supplied by BMW.
However the tyres do seem ok to me too.

Mine's Red and came with Metz Nexts but I would, given the choice have gone with Conti's

The Nexts seem ok though !

Wow

When I bought my GSA back in 06 my only concern with the tyres was they were round n black and had air in them. How things change
Can't wait to see how excited people get when the touratech stuff comes out

































Followed by the months of wining and moaning when those parts take months n months to get delivered cos touratech are shite

I ordered a thunder grey one yesterday after testing one on tuesday, which was fitted with Tourance Next. I thought they were the best I've tried on a GS for grip, but won't last long with my heavy right hand if they are anything like EXP's. Dealer was saying BMW worked with Metzler on these tyres specially for the new bike......

NEXT or Trail Attacks, not a lot of any other choice at the moment for the 120/70 R19 , hope this changes soon............

My test ride was on Conti's and I didn't like them much. Checked the tyre pressures mid ride after a couple of power slides and they seemed over inflated according to the TPM.

Was relieved when my bike was delivered with Nexts which to me are more grippy.

I had Roadsmart 2's on my TC. Bloody brilliant.

If you don't need a hybrid tyre they're the best and cheapest upgrade available IMO.
