I have a pair of standard R1200GS shocks (front & rear) that I want to sell - from a 2005 model bike, less than 4000 miles use (no off road, predominantly dry weather), A1 undamaged clean condition.

I can fleabay them but would prefer to offer them here first but have no idea what a fair asking price might be.........anyone?

Bloody hell, unusual for nobody to voice their opinion round here!

Nobody bought any/see on ebay recently or whatever? :-(

I'm crap at valuing things so take the following for what it's worth, but, given that most people would replace the worn out WBM shocks with some thing like a Wilbers I'd say, for them to be tempting, at least half the price of a set of Wilbers :nenau

Andy they are worth about a fiver each...I will reluctantly take them off your hands. :)

Seriously, half the price to buy new would be fair, but like anything if demand outstrips supply who knows, people seem to pay silly prices on e-bay nowadays.

They're yours!..................P&P is £400, that ok? :aidan

Is there really no demand for a pair of barely used 1200 shocks?........no response to ad in FS section here and no bids on eBay:

Any suggestions? (sensible/helpful please:-)

You should have taken the guy's hand off-at the shoulder when he offered £250 on e-bay;)
I would have thought most people changing their shocks would go after market not OEM-but you probably knew that anyway, hope you get lucky and find a short arse 1200ADV owner in need of lower shocks ;)

Just for the record....they finally sold on eBay for £330 inc P&P :-)
