What were they worth ?

I have just had a night time visit from some thieving buggars and amongst the items liberated were my Garmin 2620 and Garmin Quest all neatly boxed up with leads and update Cd's etc, Sadly I cannot remember what I have done with the reciepts (Probably binned them years ago) and cannot recall how much these units cost when new. Am I right in thinking the 2620 was about £800 and the Quest about £400, I am sure someone out there that hasn't got oldtimers memory loss will recall .

Not sure how much they were when new. Unless you have a new for old insurance policy though I doubt if they'll offer you much for 'em I'm afraid.

If they were registered with Garmin let them know so that they can flag them as stolen in case any one is stupid enough to try and register them.

Thanks for the replies, a mine of useful info as always, thankfully I am insured new for old, but I'm sure that won't stop them having a go at beating me down.

That's good news. As a minimum you should be up for a couple of Zumos then. Cheaper than the ad for the 2620 admittedly but a decent result if you can push it though. Maybe hit them with the links above and then show them the price of a Zumo which, combined, will be cheaper.

Sounds like a plan, next step is to decide which Zumo. obviously I will be looking closely at the forum to assist me in the decision making process, a bigger screen would be welcome as the eyes aren't what they used to be.
