What's the black plastic clip for on the handlebars of the GSA between the 2 handlebar mounts? Can I remove it as I want to mount a video camera?

Cheers.

Snerkler, On page 64 of the handbook is a picture of it. I thought it was a bit of packaging that the dealer had forgot to remove. Glad you asked the question first.:augie

i'd get that sorted out , pronto !!
you're dicing with death riding without your black plastic clip :augie:augie

Will sort it in the morning, I will book it at the local dealer, wont bother dicing with death till its replaced, I will not ride it, in fact I will not look at it, the bike that is, not the black plastic clip, thats missing, just in case anything happens, without the black plastic clip

FFS :blast

You may mock, but, in 15 years when his cables chaffedl you will be laughing from the other side of your face then:(
(mind, given the average age on this site:rob you wont be around!!!)

Alternatively you could take the cable off. That'll stop it chaffing and I'm sure it's not important.. :toungincheek:augie

In summary.....

.....it doesn't seem like a good idea taking it off! :augie

Not under any circumstances....it's holding the back wheel on.

Sorry, i'm lying. It can be removed but it's a specialist job. I have the correct tools. It'll only cost you £85.

I know i'm taking the piss but you started it.
