Pulls like a train from still but accelerating from middle of the rev range it feels like it is being momentarily held back as if it is approaching a power band and then woosh - off it goes again like it should . This has only become apparent recently i.e the last couple of rides . I thought it may be the beginning of clutch slip seeing as I am still on the original clutch since new. Today MiGSel helped me adjust the clutch cable and it doesn't seem to have made much difference but I'm not convinced it is a clutch problem because as I mentioned lower revs it pulls like it always has done.
When I got back home tonight I checked the throttle balance and it was only a bit off but when removing the small rubber plug from under the right throttle it seems to contain a small amount of oil - not petrol most definitely oil .
Any ideas what might be going on or things I should check ?
