Well, Ive now had my 1200 for nearly 3 years, (and 26000 miles of happy riding) and so far have had:

1: Fuel pump controller breakdown
2: EWS Ring antenae breakdown
3: Clutch seal leaking
4: brake light remaining on
all above within the two years and fixed under warranty.
5: Now I have the rear wheel/shaft drive seal leaking (booked in for Thursday, apparently a very quick and easy job)

So, now I seem to have suffered most of the usual problems, and had them fixed (well, last one fixed for the weekend)..... is that it, and can I now expect trouble free riding for the next 100k miles, or is there another common fault that Ive missed so far?

Dave (still happy with the bike.... FFS its a mechanical/electrical beastie, so sometimes will go wrong).

You could fill it up with diesel......:)

Or run it with the tyres half flat, or badly squared off :nenau

What ever you do, don’t get a new one, It’ll all start again :rob :D

Ebbo

I hope that I have now had all the major faults, but I would still buy a new one (well, a GSA because I prefder the looks to the 08 GS)...the only thing stopping me getting a new one is the cost to change.

Ride Safe all
