Wheel bearing life expectancy

Hi All,

Has anyone replaced their wheel bearings yet? If so at what mileage?

R1100S - front wheel bearings replaced at 63k miles. Not too expensive a job either as the bearings were, from memory, < £20 each even at BMW prices.

wheel bearings are one of the last thing I'd worry about to be honest, not that you would be wrong to check once in a while
