Just a question for you guys and gals....
Putting wheel balencing weights on the bottom of the mirrors will help with the bad vibration from mirrors at speed ?.........Tosh

They might :nenau how bad are the vibes? my mirrors are pretty much clear, are the throttle bodies well balanced?

my mirrors are clear 2, maybe the vibes are due to the engine needing balancing, shouldnt vibe that much IMHO ???

As others say - get your throttle bodies balanced - it'll be like having a new bike.

Due to the daft single piece throttle cable on my early 1100 it's impossible to get perfect balance right through the range but my mirors are clear up to about 90 or so (in theory obviously :augie )

I've got the problem on my RHS mirror, which is an aftermarket (Wunderlich) one. The left mirror (OE) is fine, so I think it's more to do with the longer reach/more vibe prone design of the aftermarket mirror than my throttle bodies. I have been thinking of weighting it and tipping some ball bearings into the hollow cavity of the mirror, then using builder's foam to lock them in place (and prevent them rattling). Anyone got any comments/suggestions before I try this? Thanks in advance.
