Come on then wheelie kings, whats the best way to wheelie this Beast. Not that I will of course because its foolish and irresponsible

or you'll never get it down again!don't fill the tank on an Adventure...

It's easy if you thrash your 'bike round Cadwell Park
Back wheel off the deck too... I wuz shit scared though

Mind you the tank was nearly empty too, so that helps.Just crack it in first and the front comes up every time. I agree with Johnny, you do have to be pretty good to get the first-second change right. I have been doing so much two-up riding lately that I went for a blast the other weekend by myself and the 12 felt like an R1. The home trip was real hooligan material popping the front up at every chance.Mind you the tank was nearly empty too, so that helps.

:not that i've ever done such a thing
Better you than me Micky I did cadwell and watched me bike slide up the track gettin' to oldIt's easy if you thrash your 'bike round Cadwell Park

for hittin' the deck now and as regards the wheelie brigade don't do it on a 1200 GS cause you might snap the brace. look where the brake goes in to it and exit. Read Ludfooters threads on the site you may understand why.
I bought phils bike and it is ok but I do wonder if thats what he may have been doing a bit of. So you can all keep you end up I'll keep mine down. These 12s have enough probs as it is.
I just roll it on in 3rd and keep it up through to sixth by which time it's sitting just about right at 150mph. According to the wind direction I just hold it there until the Autobahn ends or I run out of petrol.
When I get bored I come back to take the GS for a spin![]()

Can someone confirm is it really as nailing the throttle wide open in whichever gear? You don't have to dump the clutch or anything scary like that?
