As above, trying to figure out if a set of spoked wheels from a 2020 gsa will fit a 2013 Gs?

Not quite as straight forward as that, the front wheel on the early 2013 spoke wheels uses a different size spacer to models 2014/15 onwards.Rear is a straight swap.

Is it a case of a different spacer needed then or more hassle than that?

Just a different spacer, spindle is the same. I have 2013 spokes and 2016 spokes that I swap for use with different tyres for on and off road. I have a spacer for each, give me a minute and I will see if I can find the part numbers.

2013 spacer up to march 2014. 36 31 7 653 136
2014 onwards 36 31 8 552 158

Its the same scenario on the cast wheels as well if I recall correctly.

No problem, not cheap though about £8 I think, but you only need one. The rear is a straight swap on LCs, pre LC used different length bolts from cast to spoke wheels.
Are you running tyre pressure sensors?

I am indeed but not entirely sure they will be transferable but interested to know if you think otherwise?

Wasn't sure if your wheels come with sensors or you a taking sensors from wheel to wheel? I think the sensors are different as in frequencies, but I think you could fit your sensors from a 2013 to a 2020 wheel ok, but saying that for some reason I have it in the back of my mind they changed the position on the valve/sensor on the later models, the early models had a straight valve in the middle of the rim, I think the later ones are offset, its something you would have to check as sensors aren't cheap. The sensor frequencies changed as well, not sure when, the later models use a RDC code X530A where as the earlier bikes are X186A. Not sure if this is displayed on the sensor itself but could probably be accessed with a GS 911 tool.

Yes the later bikes run an angled valve, never swapped them out so not sure but they do list different part numbers for the wheels, but that could be just the colour as early wheels were silver.

Cheers again, much appreciated!

Hi, I currently have a 2013 GS LC with alloy wheels. I have just purchased a set of Black spoke wheels from a, I think a 2020 GS LC. My question is will i need the different spacer as you said in earlier thread the 13 year SPOKE not alloy were different? You’re help would be appreciated. TIA.?

Spacer the same on spoke and cast wheels for 2013 models
