When buying a brand new GSA......

Who has received a welcome pack via post, containing warranty booklet and a credit card sized emergency breakdown cover card?

It has been two months since I bought my GSA and yet to receive this pack.

Just spoke to the dealer and was told that card only comes with used bikes and not new ones. I can smell horse shit! Every new bike i ever bought was supplied with manufacturers 2 year breakdown cover card.

Any thought and who should i be speaking to? Girl on the phone to customer services hadn't had a clue what it is i was talking about. Consequently I've been passed on to warranty department, then emergency services and none of them had anything to do with it.

Only received my V5 from the dvla last week. Haven't had any sort of break down cover card and wasn't told about one when I bought the bike. I guess I will wait and see...

I recently bought a 12 month old K1600 it was a private sale, in amongst the paperwork was this book with all the warranty details and contact numbers for the breakdown service.

When I tried to get a breakdown card for a nearly new used GSA, I was told the opposite, that you only get them with a new bike!

When i bought my last approved used gs, card including all other bits and pieces arrived within two weeks.

I've got 12 months real rider too but nothing else.

time to name and shame the dealer......? or is that not done here?
I had a pretty poor experience with a UK dealer recently on a simply inquiry.......basically told to go ahead and find a better deal elsewhere if I could.

Need to correct what I said earlier. Did get a V5 last week but it's the second V5 as my bike was mistakenly registered as Euro 3 instead of Euro 4 by the DVLA. Only realised when opening a letter from the DVLA now where the second V5 was explained.

It will come, I was also worried about it but eventually after 3 or 4 weeks it arrived. Together as mentioned by others above with some lovely ideas on where to spend your hard earned cash and leave your missus moaning about "bloody motorbike" for the next few weeks!

3-4 weeks, i can understand but i had my bike now for 9 weeks!
