When buying a brand new GSA......

No unfortunately I haven't, but I did call emergency services once again this afternoon, was once again told to speak with my dealer, then was told, they cant issue me card even if they could, as it is not their department. Then was told that the card is no longer being issued, unless requested at the time of purchase. I said that I am struggling to believe that, because how many people just on this thread alone have bought new bike in the last 3 months and have received it? I know it is all of the information needed is out there (online) in case of emergency, but it is a principal thing that once bike got sold, no one cares about your little issues. What if I am abroad, feck knows where, and haven't got trusty 3G/4G network to google things up? Ok I can store an entire catalogue of numbers in my phone book, but yet again, I rather have a physical card that I can keep in my wallet. Call me old fashioned.......

Tossers, why don't they mention it in the covering letter, mine probably got binned with the envelope.

I got the brochure and the Real Rider card (useless as only valid in the U.K.!) and letter welcoming me to the fold. No warranty card. My salesman gave me the little booklet and completed my bikes details in the inside front cover and stamped it. I'm happy with that. I have enough bits of pointless plastic in my wallet already.

I will put the numbers in my phone and sleep easy after all a I have a brand new BMW what could possibly go wrong......................

I wouldn't worry so much about something so insignificant as a warranty card or breakdown card. You have just spent a large sum of money on a very nice motorcycle , just get out and enjoy it and don't sweat the small stuff.

After all, it's a BMW , what could possibly go wrong ?

My XR was registered 20.03.17 and got a 'thank you' letter and Activity Brochure a week later but no warranty card.
Just got letter and the card today with note to say it has come to their attention that they did not include the Motorrad Warranty Card with last letter.
So looks like there has been a bit of a cock up at Motorrad Towers.

No need to, I've got two of them now. Got back home and there is another welcome pack on the doormat. This time containing this booklet (previously missing altogether, see photo) with card firmly attached inside of it.

Breakdown Card

Got my new GSA Triple Black 9 weeks ago and card only arrived yesterday.

Bought my GS on March 15th and just got the card a couple of days ago. The letter said it "had come to their attention" that the card had not been included in a previous letter, though I don't recall receiving any other letter.
