Had to have an "emergency good weather holiday" on the GS this weekend.
So, where were we?

Not the weekend but.....
Don't know about the weekend, but today I did a 370 miler.... Glenshee,Braemar, Lecht, Grantown(met up with 3 others), Cawdor, 'sneckie, Achnasheen, Lochcarron, Applecross for lunch via dreich & soggy Bealach, back over Bealach...not so soggy..Dornie, Inverinate, Cluanie, top of the Garry, Invergarry, Spean Bridge, Dalwhinnie, Pitlochry, home.
Left at 7.45, back at 7.
Just the best, even if the weather didn't play ALL the way.

Durness and Cove
As Jazbee says,the 1st pic is Sango Bay from the campsite at Durness
The 2nd is looking south across the harbour/beach at Cove -a small hamlet on the dead-end road along the west side of Loch Ewe which comes to an end at the Artic Convoy Memorial and WW2 gun batteries - a beautiful road.
We had 2 nights camping in Ullapool and 2 nights in Durness - all in stunning weather - swimming both days at Durness - a truly unusual event up there!!

aye....yer right....best riding in the UK......apart from the bastard trucks on the A9.....still getting to the front adds a bit of sparkle!!!
