I'm stuck in Singapore, Dubai and Karachi these days without my bike and suffering from the mental heat

mr klankt sir ! what kind of boat dae ye have? just nosey! am kinda in the trade.

I bought a three man tent from Argos for £22 (special offer) today in preparation for GOTC. Blimey...life in the fast lane......

And no...I won't be looking for two 'men' to share with me.

Not unless they buy me a few drinks first.

Ar, just a little grp 16ft fishing boat with a cuddy on it. Mariner 15 hp strapped to it's arse. Called 'Paelag' (caithness for porpoise).

She's been hauled out since the back end of 2007 as work's got in the way. I'm determined to get her back in the water in the next few weeks and maybe get a few creels oot.

Nearly ready.

I was there last year.

The Scrabster to Stromness Ferry takes just under 90 mins.

That was on the Northlink 'Hamnavoe' - a very nice vessle.

Sleep till your hungry, eat till your sleepy, that's the way of the north sea tiger after all!

After all it's not all lobsters & fillets steak! Thankfully we get plenty of "Jock Pies 'n' chips too

And as for this Floyd chap, how would I recognise him? It's not easy out here as we all go around head to foot in grease & crude oil most of the time so we all look alike..

Hey Boatman . . .

We launched my neighbour's "Etap 23" last weekend :thumb2
