I'm eagerlly awaiting delivery of my shiny new (go faster red) GS12 in March, but in the mean time am aiming to pick up a few bits and pieces, ready for her, you know, make her feel more safe and comfortable in her new home :D

To that end i've followed with interest many threads on here, and looks like as far as crash bars are concerned, it has to be H&B... that or TT, but nobody knows when the TT ones will be available... so guess it kind of makes decision for me!!

Anyone know of any particularly good places to buy? Or are they same price everywhere?

thanks for your help... :beerjug:

Motobins here too - not the swiftest of service (I assume they were out of stock {sept/nov time}), but it arrived just fine and I was in no hurry. Top notch!

Extra cost at service

Just a note but....

I believe there is additional cost when servicing if you add the bars including the bm ones (though not as much).

S'pose you could remove them yerself first though.

Mine's red with black and black. Easily the fastest, best handling, crowd pleasing colour. Easily.

Skippy.

Had mine serviced (6000 miles) last week - £75 and no mention of any extra charge due to engine bars. I can't see how the H+B bars could possibly impede removal of the rocker covers.

Thanks everyone... Motobins it is then....

oh, and by the way.... Red, Grey and black... thats by far the most crowd pleasing, fastest colour...... ;)

hey mouse where did you get the 6k service done for £75.
when i had mine done it cost in the region of £120.
i'm just coming up to my 12k service and not looking forward to that bill.
just wondering.

Southport Superbikes, but I had done the oil+filter change myself so that saved me a bit of cash.

The oil and filter cost me about £25 to buy, so decide yourself whether it's worth the saving :)
