Where to Try & Buy?

I want to buy a new lid, but where can you go that has a good stock, so that you can try before you buy, all I can find on the web are web based outlets with no "real" shop?

Heine Gericke usually have a good selection to try on....don't know of anywhere that would let you take it out of the shop to try it though

I don't want to take it for a ride! I just want to try them on for size, to make sure they fit. Motorcycle clothing sizes have no relation to sizes in the real world, so you can't trust buying anything from the internet

Helmet city have loads of helmets to try, basically one of everything they sell. The address is on their website, if it's quite they will let you try one on the bike too if you ask nicely.

If you go down to Farnborough there is an Inifinity and a Heine Gericke within walking distance of each other.

Apparently the outlet store in Swindon has an impressive selection of discounted helmets. They have several other locations with an outlet store in Slough.

HG in Slough, very helpful staff, and i believe the is some sort of sale on at present, details are posted on ukgser somewhere.

maybe I should have said not to recomend these useless emporiums, they have no interest in anything but the power ranger and plastic rocket brigade, membership of which I shall never have

I am looking for an enduro style lid with a visor, but it is hard to find someone who stocks them

Well last time I was there they had the Arai and Shoei versions as well as the HJC, but you carry on as I am sure George White are much better

My local HG has the Tour X, sure you could try there and then buy online
