Lost one of the engine badges from my R90S today. Fortunately these things are still available, or at least aftermarket versions are, at a princely sum of £48 each! Obviously I don't want to make a habit of losing these therefore which glues might be recommended for sticking these back in place? I'm aware that alloy is notoriously difficult to stick things to. Paint needs to be self-etching acid based but what about glue? Any advice appreciated.

Any silicone adhesive will do - 3M and Sika make good, expensive, ones, but most will do as high strength is not required.
The instructions for preparation are on their web sites, usually cleaning and abrading with Scotchbrite and a solvent, then wiping down with a clean white tissue.
Then use a piece of thin double sided tape as a spacer, and to hold the badge while the adhesive sets, they are thick bed adhesives and take a bit of time to fully cure.
