Which Exhaust Tail Pipe

If you change the headers and/or tail pipe do you need to re-tune or do something to the engine to make it run correctly?

Not as long as the headers allow for the sensors to be fitted, they monitor the gases and adjust the fuelling etc for you.
If you don't have these then you may need a power commander, which IMHO is a but pointless.

As a web designer I find site that require so many clicks to get to something to be very badly designed.
Well...NOT being a web designer I managed to find my round it ok so it must be doing something right !:augie

The remus headers have the inlets for the lambda's so all is well in injectionland..;)

I have Remus headers with Bos stainless exhaust. Baffle not removed.

Have had Remus exhaust previously, but am happy with Bos quality.

Performace similar.

Will go for Bos again.

Short and sweet.

So... I have spent some time today looking for a full system as it seems just replacing the end can just changes the sound with little performance benefits.
Is it really worth spending £750+ for collectors and tail pipe to get a few extra HP - does it make that much difference?

+1:thumb Remus Headers +Akro on my 08 GSA. Mind you theHeaders I took off my 06 GSA are a bit tighter to fit on the 08 and initially didnt look like I'd get the Exaust stud nut on ,but they do fit eventually and sound great !!:thumb2

Rob

Have you looked at Keihan? I`ve got an ad on the vendors of innovation section. Great British made headers which retain the balancer pipe for mid range.

We are just working on an end can so stand by:thumb

Pm me if you want more info.

Why not just get a Y piece CAT replacement and use your existing headers - a lot cheaper and probably more effective as the balance pipe is retained.

Rob, delighted you are looking seriously at this add on - I fear you may not either hear or have enough BHP from your standard system over my NEW FULL BOS SYSTEM - which I love! LOL MICK

As above, Remus headers are the answer. Sadjim sorted me out for a v.good price :thumb2

Got the full Remus system and am really pleased with it - the thing you notice besides the perkier engine response is the weight! The bike is so much lighter. I must admit I did have a feel (oh er!) of the Ti akro pipe and it is REALLY light - but too pricey.

Cheers
Johnny
