Which grease?

Sorry... some of you are probably groaning or rolling on the floor laughing at me, but I'm about to refit wheels and need to grease the inisde of the hubs, bearings, etc and I've never bought grease before.

Will this do...

Grease

You need high melting point grease and DON'T put too much in the bearings
(check these arnt sealed bearings)

yeah, they are - it's just to grease the inside of the hub when I put them in, not greasing the bearings themselves

Lightly grease to stop corrosion. Applying too much will just attract grit and will not work as much of a lubricant after a while. As in don't apply grease to the clutch lever/cable nipple area if you don't want it to wear etc.

Obviously sealed bearings have thier own bearing grease so don't need any additional.

I always use Castrol LM

SKF LGEM-2 is a specialist grease for slow ratating bearing, might be ok but I prefer the castrol Lm. Dave
