Which GS911

Pre Lc bikes are on ISO KWP 2000 Protocol the same as a number of cars. Not sure about the LC bikes , try the LC section.
Most scanners will give you a bit of info.
Nothing that I have Ie. Motoscan App ( most expensive) and OBD link MX, Innovate LM2 Dual in scanner mode come anything close to the capabilities of my old Gen1 Buetooth GS911 , It is the dedicated software that you are paying for.

Thanks for confirming, I thought that might be the case. While there are a handful of scanners out there which may give most of the functionality I'd be after, I'd then have to fork out again for the software to work with that scanner and my bike, and probably for out again for an Android phone or use Windows via a VM - Apple user here. The GS-911's ability to work via any web browser alleviates a lot of those additional requirements ... and they know how to charge for it too. Will keep mulling it over ...

I’ve got the older Yellow one and bought it new around 2014. I used it last week and when I connected it to my laptop and updated from Hexcode, the list under R Series had all the LC up to and including the 1250’s.
My 2011 bike is way down the available list.
Same for me, explored a few more of the available features, all systems checked out ok!

Well, I decided to smite the mullet and went for the newer red GS-911, along with an adaptor cable so that I can use it on my R9T as well. I keep telling myself that it'll work out cheaper compared to just two dealer services - think my credit card knows I'm kidding nobody ... :)

Thanks for all the replies and guidance, much appreciated.
