Which panniers for GSA

Go for the original BM panniers. Robust, easy on easy off, great inner bags, plenty of space, perfect even for off road use, one key for all, can take extra load on top with inner bags supplied straps. Pricy but worthy

Have the ali BMW GS panniers and I must say that I am impressed with them. Some people don't like that they go a bit milky in winter when you get salt / rain. They soon shine up again with a bit of elbow grease though. The BMW liners are also good - good robust bags.

The best panniers BMW made were those for the 1150GSA--powder coated inside and out, and with the ability to fit a large top box (actually another side pannier). The 1200GSA BMW panniers are NOT powder coated, so the outsides get pitted easily and the insides make a mess of the contents of the panniers unless you use inner bags, in which case the bags get covered in ground-up aluminium.

Jesse panniers are a great design but I had problems with silencer clearance an the top box falling off (bad design). Metal Mules which I currently have are good but pricey. Many of the other panniers are not easily detachable which makes them a no-no for me.
