I don't see how you can sell the 1150 chap, especially with the trips you've taken with it.

Shame the SE isn't standard.......:augie

May have a lad looking for a cheap 1100 though......;)

Clearly ...

... you don't wish to sell either or any, so it depends upon the need; sadly, whichever closest meets your needs will have to go and that includes your rather tasty Triumph; so do you need 3, 5 or 6k ?

sell em both and buy a 1200,you know it makes sense. ;)

Reading your post out loud sounds like this

Sell the one with the least memories attached to it

That'll be the 1100 then

Sell the 1100 and the Triumph

Keep the 1150GSA, the 640Adv, the Husaberg and the Fantic twinshock Trials - then you have bikes for all reasons & seasons, that match your wife's machines

Why?

Do you really need to sell either, SE I have and will never sell it, but your 1100 is very nice too......shame to let them part each others company if money isnt an option,

What's replacing either one?

Thing is, money is an option otherwise I'd never sell any of my bikes, money's what pays for them to be ridden:blast

All the bikes I've had are good ones then set up the way I like them, hence the flippin dilema.

I'd never get a better 1150 or 1100gs and the Triumph is a one off, sadly the Triumph is pure luxury so it's first on the list:mad:

I can't see me not having the 1150 though, it's as near to perfection as it''ll ever be.

The 1100GS is simply a great bike, get on it, ride and put away. I don't even regard it as a GS or anything else for that matter, just a brilliant motorcycle.

....as for a 1200....pleeease, after having eight types of GS's over 12 years I can't think of a single reason, for having one:eek::P

Maybe I'll just rob a bank:D

I don't envy your position Tim, having to choose between brilliant bikes is hard.
However, you know damn well that you'll be keeping that peach of an SE.........................................

............................................. It's a real credit to you:aidan

if you are going down the line of getting rid of one of them advertise each for what you would like to get and sell whichever one goes first.
