Which Tool Tray Locking Mechanism

In the event I remove the pillion seat to carry more c**p on my bike I would be interested in your;

Advise and/or opinions please folks, on which is the better locking mechanism for the toolbox tray on my 1150.


Touratech lockable lid:
Pros: Made from Aluminium
Cons: Another Key, seeing it on locates on the standard tray is it any stronger?


or



The standard lock utilising the bike seat lock??
Pros: Same key as bike, Cheaper
Cons: Plastic is it as secure

Just fits in place of the pillion seat, and uses the existing lock mechanism.
