Which wire for live feed ?

Hi,

I need to get a positive feed for my autocom which I was going to take from the aux power. can someone let me know which colour wire to attach to. If there is a better alternative please let me know

Are you referring to the 'live' for the Autocom or the power supply?
If you are talking about the aux power socket then the middle is the + and negative the outside. If you know what I mean.

If it's a canbus bike, you will be taking away from the maximum available current you can use that socket for....even if the autocom probably won't draw more than an amp or so.

I'd go for the battery directly, (fused obviously)

Autocoms power down after x the plugs are pulled, so it ought to be fine

Tapped into lighting circuit on my 1100.

No lights, no noise...works well if you need it too
