Wanted Whisky!

The best bang for buck single malt you can buy is Highland Park 10. Smokey with peat but not overpowering like Laphroaig. It’s an Orkney whisky so a decent mix.

If you want to spend some money go for Lagavulin 16. It’ll knock your socks off!!

I’ve a few bottles of special Highland Parks that I’m willing to part ways with if you’re interested 👍🏻

Now that’s really interesting. I do have a soft spot for the Hebridean Islands and their newer distilleries.

How much would you like for it?
Can you collect from RG5. No hurry, well not from my part! :D

I took a look on the www and it seems they are selling at about £55. How about £30, split equally between the following charities:

DEBRA - https://www.debra.org.uk/get-support/eb-support-and-resources

and

Rob Burrows MND appeal - https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/robburrowappeal

I’ve just recently bought a 12 year old single malt from Glenturret Distillery near Crief, Perthshire for a good friend who also happens to be a member on here. I’m awaiting an appraisal on it as we speak. 🙂
I liked that as well. Bought a bottle and also got slightly ( very ) inebriated at the distillery. Went on a tour many years ago when my kids were young. We had to pay for the kids but they were not allowed to sample. There were only a handful on the tour but a large tray of samples were awaiting the tour. I found a water glass and told my lad to fill it when we were at the end of the tour so I ended up with nearly half a pint of malt!
It would have been rude not to dispose of it in the appropriate manner!
Wifey had to drive home.

Take a look in Morrisons for whiskey. Always offers on, and with a free store card you can get extra discounts.

I would hide that away for 20+ years to see how much it’s value has gone up. First release of a decent distillery will always be of interest to collectors. I’ve got one the same, which I’m keeping and hoping to make a modest profit on at some point.

Sadly I noticed your Post too late to offer you some of my supply, gifted from my father and Grandfather.
As a non drinker myself, cant stand the smell of the stuff, it was duly poured down the sink hole.

I swear, I saw, some woodlice appear intoxicated and run around in circles as they came up from the drain hole outside which is attached to the sink. 🐜🪰🪳🕷️ perhaps a party took place.
