Have to miss tonight, but November sounds OK.

Weekends best or what? Suggestions as to where. Farringdon old SPC shop, not a lot there is there? Especially if it's pissing down & someone's in need of a chat. Is there a suitable watering hole, AKA pub to meet?

Weekday evenings are best for me, i think spc's was suggested for the pub next door as much as anything, where would there be a centrally located pub we could meet for a chat and a beer?

Suppose it's a good as place as any, at least everyone knows where it is.

So the only question  is what day & time?

More to the point how many would actually turn up?

Live in Fleet,in the posh bit with running water and no steel riot shutters on the windows.

However,my Dakar has just died the death of a thousand cuts,so you will see me hooning about on my Tl100 s or my MT 03,until i can get another GS.

Shep, were there any further suggestions made at your meet yesterday?

Not my meet at all that was an Oxfordshire "non meeting" I would group myself as a Central South Area ( Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire) guy if only we had our own area

I just turn up at the Oxfordshire meets to help swell the numbers a bit and to stop Possu and Pumpy getting all romantic over dinner :D :D

As for pubs The Mayfly on the River Test near Stockbridge would be nice on a hot summers evening but in the winter :nono

If somebody digs out a map and sorts out what is in the middle of the "area" we can ask for sugesstions thereabouts :nenau

If it's done by concensus, this is going to just going F F F FADE AWAY.

Just thought, how about the Bullington Cross pub at the junction of the A34 and the A303 easy to get too, but i've never been there my self :nenau good access though from most directions :thumb

OK, you prevaricating tossers, I shall be in the Cricketers in Eastleigh this wednesday @ 8:30.

This is located just off the M27, Eastleigh turn off, (Southampton airport) by the Ford transit turn off. Head North, along Stoneham Lane, At the roundabout, turn left towards Chandlers Ford. Cricketers is on the right, about 300 yards, large car park.

Me?
Balding grey haired bloke with glasses, orange Roof helmet, propped up somewhere in the pub. Black GS, c/w Nippy Norman mudflaps, Givi topbox, lack of charisma  Possibly wearing a "no fear" T-shirt c/w skull motif :D

Who's up for it then, otherwise I've lost interest :nenau

see quite a few bmw bikes in the car park at dock gate20 hd lately, could always meet there as the cafe does a mean breakfast just ask speedyellow :D :D

its fading away

YOFFI, seems to be an apathy attack. No one has said yes to the Cricketers, so if you're in work on Saturday at DG20, I'll drop in for a coffee :thumb

See you Saturday then YOFFI. I must assume that no ones interested in the Cricketers.

It seems to me that we are all a load of loners as nobody can decide who wants to meet who,or when,or where! :rob

There is more chance of support of a get together if its proposed to take place in a more central location :nenau

Looks like it could be Basingstoke then, as they say its the centre of the Universe :D

Or if you want to go "al fresco" there's the burger van in Morrisons car park. Yummy yummy. :bounce1

Just been in to see YOFFI at Dock Gate 20, the HD dealer. I can vouch for the tea, & egg & bacon sarnie (cheers Darren :thumb )

Nice to have met you.

Nice big car park, easy to get to.

M27, M271, turn left into Southampton, Dock Gate off first roundabout on the right. Just follow the exhaust note :D

Lots of Harleys to look at. You'll get the chance to hear "Red" talking, nice bloke. First time you hear him, he sounds like a stereotype redneck. Yo Bro'

Perhaps they should take over the old SPC franchise :ymca

Darren is working next Sunday, why not pop in and see him.
Doesn't have to be one central place for GS' to meet does there?
