who's up for a 24hr adventure ???

Joe
What time are you planning to be crossing on the Tarbert ferry?

When is this ride going ahead?

Jockser M.I.A??Sent him a PM ages ago with no reply.

After my initial joy at the thought of joining you for a long run round Ireland, I plotted your route in mapsource and realised that with the amount of miles you guys are covering in the space of time you have to do it my tiny bladder would be the downfall of the attempt so I'm bowing out gracefully (hopefully) and wish you all the best!

The route
Lads n ladies, as i have said before...
this is no walk in the PARK, if you wish to under take this
it must be made clear, that you can drop out at any stage.
If TIRENESS hits you you must REST !!!
Riding while tired is as bad as been DRUNK !!!
the only reason i am about to try it is because i know the roads
and at the moment I am on me moto solid for a fair few hours a day

My Route for An Lá is fada

the roads well, remember this is not race !!!

Joe, I'd be inclined to go from Malin to Mizen and then onto Slea Head. Riding thru Clare for the Tarbert ferry would be wasting a lot of time, for a 15/30 min break on and/or waiting for the ferry.

Me Too

Joe,
im going to have a crack at it. Im on holidays for the week so that should give my arse time to recover:eek:.

Me thinkin is this, the Tarbert ferry is now as far as i know on its summer sailing times.
On the hour and half hour, the crossing is 20mins, shop, toilet on board ferry.
I want to get all crap roads done in day light...after Mizen road from Clonakilty, Bandon, Cork, Fermoy, Cashel, Dublin, Belfast all good.
Anyway everytime I go to Limrick I get losted :o
