Lads n Ladies...
What a 24hr adventure, and to do it in the company of so many ukgser's that
I admire was really humbling.

I arrived at Belfast city hall at 05:55am sunday morning to find big fella,
Wilson, Mzokk, Leprachaun and Chubbythumper waiting. After a quick chat
and a few foto's we headed off leaving about 06:05am to Burr Point (the
most eastern part of Ireland)
Mileage reading and trip reset Belfast city hall (camera shake nerves

)
We arrive at Burr Point about 06:45am a quick chat and few more foto's
then Mzokk give us a quicker route back to Belfast

He heads back
to bed and meself, Leprachaun, big fella and Wilson head towards Malin
Head (the most northern part of Ireland).
Burr Point
We get into Derry take the Foyle Bridge over and meet Jockser at Muff then
onto Malin Head. Got there about 09:15am
Malin Head
We leave Malin Head heading south for Slea Head, stop for petrol just outside
Burnfoot (Donegal) and big fella takes over lead south planning to stop in
Tuam for lunch, We stop just outside Tuam for a quick bite and then on to
catch ferry across Shannon.
Tarbert Ferry across Shannon 15:30pm
I take the lead again down towards Slea Head (the most western part of
Ireland)
We meet daimo

at Slea head and he takes us towards Mizen Head, at
Castlmaine we run into GerryC

and he then takes over lead toward Mizen
Lads this is where the tiredness begins to hit me, at Killarney I wave the
others behind me in front and I take up the rear.
Fairplay to daimo and gerryc because without them we'd be still riding around
Kerry and Cork

We arrive at Mizen Head (the most southern part of Ireland) and its DARK...
But little did we know that the big fella had lined up a stripper to wake us all
up

We said our goodbyes and thanks to gerryc and Wilson took the lead to
Skibbereen, where we stopped for food and a rest. After a quick bite we
headed for Cork.... Lads n ladies it is here that i must apologise to the hero's
of "an la is fada" Tiredness was really begining to hit me hard and i was making
mistakes on the road so i had to slow up, this was holding up everybody
and big fella and Leprachaun had been on the go since 04:00am to be in
Belfast ( Frank, Tom, Jochen and Wilson my sincere apologises )
At Bandon we meet up with no other man than the bold Dathi himself,
a wee rest and a chat and on wards to Cork city for some petrol and then the
road north. We stopped again in Urlingford where we said our goodbyes and
thanks to Daithi

. Leprachaun and big fella head off towards home trying
to complete the 1600kms before 4am and meself jockser and Wilson made
our way to Dublin. Jockser peeled of for home at Kildare and meself and Wilson
stopped for petrol again before the M50 then on to the M1 north. On the M1
just before Newry it began to rain again and a bit of FOG i waved Wilson on
as I had to slow up again, at least one of us would make it on time...
Wilson headed in to the distance and i watched his tailight disappear, I got
on to the Lisburn turn of for Belfast at 05:45am coming down the motorway
westlink closed from Stockmans lane, took turn of for the Falls Road and headed
towards city hall getting there at 05:58am but no sign of Wilson, and then he
comes riding along he'd taken the Lisburn Road in.
05:59 belfast city hall
I owe you all big time

and a big thank you to all who gave cash and
its still not too late to PM Jockser with a few bob.
