We've got a selection of R1200S's typically with Heated Grips, ABS, Anti Theft & Sports Package in Black, Yellow or Titan Silver. Red & Silver are a little harder to find at the moment but will be available later this month.

Give a call and we'll try to meet your requirements.

But the statement seems to imply ALL salespeople. This is a little harsh and rather insulting. I am in favour of anyone expressing a valid opinion.

You should'nt take it all so personally, certain moderators have called one section of GSer's (1200 owners) all :censor::censor::censor::censor::censor::censor:s, every single one of them  :nenau (surely some are too old for that sort of thing :D )
So at least we know they are human, with human failings, even though some seem to think they are "godlike"

Shep :D :D

SPC

Just a satisfied customer from SPC . I have had several bikes from them . The deals have been at the right time and good. I dont part with the hard earned easily.
I do realise they are a business and not a registered charity.
When I have had problems they have been sorted to my satisfaction , pleasantly and without rudeness.
I have been directly to the people that can sort it and been persistent.
I dont whinge behind their backs !
At the moment they are extraordinarily busy and may be victims of their own success.

As for Mr Park Lane ever the opportunistic salesman !!! Good luck to you sir .

No your not !

I know for a fact that the BOSS`s from SPC keep an eye on this slot of UKGSER.com.

And I`m sure they are mortefied to read the above, after the last lot of stick they got in the DEALERS slot a year or so ago, about the service dept, and sales, things were done.

As a small bussiness I had my second phone complaint today in 30 years about my Cheese straws being over baked, now some like them this way, I`m not pleasing all.

All I can say and have said before in here is RING AND SPECK TO THE BOSS !

If you speck to him again with your problem, he would be foolish and unbussiness like NOT to sort out your problem.

SPC worked well for me last month in donating a shed load of stuff to THE HOGRAOST and I have seen behind to opperation on a few visits cap in hand sat in a chair opposite the TOP people there.

They are very busy, like us all !

I`m sure we all make misstakes, mine cost me 40p unlike theirs £9K.

So ring them, again talk to the engine driver, its to easy to pull them apart on here ! :rob

Getting back to the core issue of this thread, I have a tendency to empathise with Bakerman’s point. Let’s put this into perspective; everybody at some point has or will experience unsatisfactory customer service from a dealer (by heck, there are certainly some good examples on this site). Instead of whining about it, why not do us all a favour and try making things better for everyone, then tell us the good or the bad.

Well said Bakerman. :clap
I've only had 1 dealings with SPC (I had to collect a disk from there while at the Hogroast) and they seemed pretty organised to me, with the disk waiting on someones desk, just waiting to be collected. They did seem pretty busy though, but lets face it setting up a system to return a call to someone who wants to buy a bike should be a simple problem to overcome - provided they know that there is a problem. Don't lose your top, just politely point it out to the boss - after all he/she is the one who has the power to sort it out.

If I remember, that disc was ordered over a mobile phone, no money taken and fitting offered, delivered the next day and paid for on pick up

SPC

When I have visited SPC ( only 3 times) they were always helpful. Not been there since i moved in 04 though.

However, when I came to buy my bike at the end of '03 I had EXACTLY the same problem. Salesman promised to call me back, he didnt, i emailed , no response. I rang and left a message, no return call. I rang again and found that the bike I wanted had been sold to another customer.

Bought a nicer bike for less money from elsewhere in the end.

Did he know you ;) :P

Only ever been there once and that was when xbootie went to look at and order his bike.
Cant say I was overly taken with the place and (I think it was) the sales manager who came across very badly.
Been to CW a few times ... brilliant :thumb

They did, of course, manage to 'lose' a sales manager earlier this year.

He'd been there abou 18 months or so.

He seems to have upset bucketloads of folk.

Reading between the lines (if you'll pardon the mixed metaphor) of overheard conversations, this chap left a heap of problems to overcome.

What is noticeable since he left is that the atmosphere has improved and the staff more cheerful.

But it can never be good to hear the sale manager talk to his salemen as though they're naughty 10 yr olds across the sales floor.

Can`t comment on the showroom guys but the parts department have always been superb. I have ordered Wunderlich stuff from them and they have always been very prompt and efficient; plus they are the only people who have managed to source and supply my pivotpegz which arrived today. An awesome looking piece of kit which arrived earlier than anticipated :thumb

You can add me to the list of people that they haven't phoned back as well that was a potential sale.
Should have had a phone call on Friday but didn't so it looks like they're loosing business.

I am a fan of SPC. Bought my third bike with them this year. Always good to deal with Bob. Usually finds a way to get you a deal that both are happy with. Never get the crap talk at the "posh" dealerships about how BMW bikes defy basic economic theory on depreciation. Just tells you what he can and cannot do.

What has fascinated me (and probably happens at other dealerships too) is the people who like to throw stones. Yet they still goto the dealership, enjoy the walk around the shop, the free coffee, snacks and polite hospitality. Then they get home on the computer ... they start getting personal with people that just watered and fed them for free

I really admire the ability of people like Bob who tolerate the abuse. I would have told the "potential" customer to :censor::censor::censor::censor: off! Life is just too short to live with that kinda grief!
