Go Wilbers every time, we use them in tough African conditions and we have lads here that think that their GS's are MotoX bikes, plus they build some pretty big buggers here!
The advantage is that they are built to measure which makes them far more rideable.
They also are the only shocks that marry to the BMW ESA system without cocking the electronics up and work in total harmony of the same ESA switch.
The other beaut is they are practically rebuilt when serviced every two years - so you basically get new shock every two years, for a paltry sum,no brainer methinks.
