Wilbers ordered what to expect?

I find Wilbers not as good as Ohlins and have been harder to set-up

They are cheaper for a reason:D

can only say first outing the rod puched through the shock body on the ohlins on the hp2....
had wiburs on for 2 years done evry rally there is (i dont hang about )had it serviced last week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! not one problem

I think part of my cynicism over expensive shocks is down to the variation in the roads and loads when I ride my GS.

I regularly ride everything from fast sweeping turns to muddy tracks often in a single trip. Some days with a full tank (and full aux tank in place of the pillion seat) and some days almost dry.

Given the regular changes in speed, road surface and load, I fail to see how a single shock, of any quality, can be set up correctly for more than half an hour. I am a firm believer in ESA II though and wouldn't have a new bike without it so I can tailor the bike to suit the conditions minute by minute.

Some you win...................some you lose:blast

Fitted them

Fitted them yesterday and went out for a ride, first thing I noticed was when I fired up the bike on the side stand it squatted down on the rear when the throttle was blipped and it a little higher on the rear.

went for a ride around the quick b roads around usk, monmouth, chepstow.

Its like a differnt bike,
plush ride,
it changes direction so quick the first couple of times I thought it was sliding,
composed on fast bumpy corners,I was pogoing around them before,
keeps on line really easy without having to fight it,

Thats after a 50 miles kaneing session without any adjusting.

Im well happy:bounce1:bounce1:bounce1:bow

Why not change the bolt?

I have seen a stud go on back of K series and it was not pretty.
