Bit of spannering tonight. Golden opportunity to use some of the spares I've got laying about.

Has anybody got -

1/ A Mono/Early Paralever headlight cowling.
2/ A Mono seat

Apart from that I think I'm good to go for the time being.

Cheapo R65 tank arrived this afternoon courtesy of Ebay. A minor adjustment with a copper faced mallet to get it to miss the GS electrics bracket and we're almost ready to roll

The engines a full fat 70 BHP 81 RS so shouldn't hang about

Just need a high front mudguard, Paralever back wheel, A silencer and a mono seat if you have them laying about :beerjug:

Love the bike lift Rob, that's proper old school bike building:beerjug:

Yehh old school is right, have to dismantle half the bike again to get the fooker down:(

Thats why I bought a hydraulic bike lift asap..

I might have a high front mudguard..spare.. but it's a mono one, to put it on a para is sacrilege..:eek

I've been building bikes on them for 30 years Joe. 4 hefty cable ties round the frame tubes and the work mate and it dead stable. :beerjug:

I haven't got the space for a workbench Proff otherwise I'd have one.

You just tilt the whole lot over and stand the bike on it's back wheel. Bit of a knack but you soon get used to it.

blimey - you don't hand around :clap I'll have to get a wiggle on and get them bits posted - I'll drive to work tomorrow or Friday and call in at a couriers - there's bound to be one where I work in Newbury
